About the Webmaster:

This website was established as a continuation of my own search for knowledge as I am a tinkerer by nature and I am trying to learn the machinist art so that I can make some of the things that I want that nobody else makes. With this background I have purchased a number of tools including an Atlas Metal Lathe, Bridgeport Round Ram M-Head Milling machine, New Hermes Pantograph Mill, Metal Band Saw, Gas welding setup, Arc Welding setup, and tons of other smaller tools. In the process gathering the materials to learn to uses these tools I have been selling this information to others and I have come to the conclusion that there are many people like myself that are looking for knowledge and there isn't really a great place where we can call home to share our experiences. This is what I am trying to establish here!

About the Website:

This website consists of seven different forum boards with each board subdivided by categories and subject specific forums. I tried to set these forums up so that a variety of subjects can be discussed in a single location. The forums were established as these are the skills I am personally trying to learn but I will be very happy to add additional boards and forums as suggested by members once this new forum starts going. To get this forum going I am covering all costs of the website I am committed to having this website run as a NON-PROFIT and NON-COMMERCIAL website as much as possible. If hosting costs get too large in the future we may need to revisit this decision but I assure everyone that this is not a goal and reason for the establishment of this new Web Forum!
